Poem: Odes of Solomon - Ode 19

A cup of milk was offered to me
And I drank it with the sweetness of the Lord’s kindness.
The Son is the cup,
And He who was milked is the Father.
And She who milked Him is the Holy Spirit.
Because His breasts were full,
And it was not necessary for His milk to be poured without cause.
The Holy Spirit opened her womb and mixed the milk of the two breasts of the Father.
And She gave the mixture to the world without their knowing.
And those who received it are in the perfection of the right hand.
The womb of the Virgin caught it, and she received conception and gave birth. . . .

Rub il maseeh ee baarek feek.
Mitil mah rikbit fee urduk,
Irbuk fee mujunuk wud yeed.
Amin.

As I tired in kneading you,
May the Lord give His blessing.
As you grew in the ground,
May you grow in your rising and be bountiful.
Amen.
