Introducing the Issue

From the Editorial Board

This message was published in the St. Nina Quarterly, Volume 1, No. 2.

We are pleased to bring you the second issue of the St. Nina Quarterly. The response to our premier issue has been tremendous.

We continue the journey. Our Spring issue explores the themes of Lent, Pascha and Pentacost and the lives of some of the women who played pivital roles in the latter two events. The Church honors these women as disciples of Christ. Let their examples be a model to us as we explore our participation in the life of the Church.

Issues for the remainder of the year will explore the following themes:

  • Summer 1997 - The Theotokos as a model for women and men
  • Fall 1997 - Women in the early church

As always, we welcome and encourage submissions of articles, poems, and book reviews and are especially interested in hearing about your experience in the Church. Submissions should be typed and single-spaced.
